Do you have Twitter? I do, and my feed was bombarded on Sunday night with 60 Minutes’ report on Amazon, specifically, Prime Air.
Essentially, Amazon will offer drone delivery for certain products that will be leave an Amazon warehouse and drop a package off on a doorstep in about 30 minutes.
Watch the video Amazon conveniently posted after the 60 Minutes special aired.
Of course, this needs FAA approval and won’t happen for a couple of years. But still. Talk about a great delivery option!
Wow, just like the FedEx shipments in Rainbows End.
Brilliant idea, rapidly spinning blades maneuvering through power and phone lines, outdoor pets, and children playing outside. What could possibly go wrong?
Twitter has been amazing for humor with these drones.
Yeah, I loved this one: “So basically free stuff from Amazon if you’re a good shot with a rifle.”
I REFER TO MR BEZOS NOW AS MR BSEZOS. PURE BS ON THIS
No need to YELL, Dan. We hear you perfectly fine from here. 🙂
Chris, sorry about that, the borrowed display computer i used at the local computer store last night had a broken keyboard so i had to use all caps. I don’t own a computer, as you know. and i was not ”YELLING!” smile.
