More Kindle Fire 2 rumors, from Unwired View’s translation of a China Times article: Amazon has reportedly ordered two million of the tablets to ship on August 7th, and is rumored to be preparing an announcement for July 31.
According to these rumors, the Fire 2 will be 7”, 1280×720, and will have a metal frame and plastic chassis. No word yet on the rumored 9” or 10” sizes, but at two million units Amazon would seem to be nothing if not ambitious for the current model.
Perhaps we’ll know more on July 31.
