Note: The following is a feature for the iPad version of Feedly, not the Web version of Feedly.
Perhaps I’m just slow, but in case some of our readers are also slow (no need to admit if you are), I thought I’d point out a cool feature I discovered in Feedly today.
See that little pencil icon in the upper right part of the Feedly screen?
Click that and Feedly will say it’s “Removing Clutter,” which transforms your article from this:
To this!
And no, I totally didn’t diss the advertising on our site. Nope.
Anyway, it won’t show up on all articles in Feedly, but when it does appear, it makes the reading experience more pleasant. But you all probably knew about it already, didn’t you?
Dan published this too fast. 😉 I came back to edit and and found it was already posted. Anyway, I’d meant to add that this was a feature in Feedly for iPad. Not the web version of Feedly.
Sorry if I caused any inadvertent confusion.
Also present in the Android version. Seems to appear every time you click on a link from the article (“read more” or “visit website”). Had never noticed it was there, but very handy.
@Bob, I assumed it was also in the Android version, but thanks for confirming. Yes, I hadn’t noticed it until today, but now that I know about it, it’s darned handy.
