Just in case you missed the news, Geeks of Doom reports that on this date in the books, Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley Potter’s first son, James Severus Potter, begins his first term at Hogwarts. The kid featured in the epilogue of the last book, their second son, Albus Severus Potter, will enter in another two years.
I’m in Edinburgh, so could somebody at King’s Cross wish James S Potter good luck for me? He’s starting at Hogwarts today. #BackToHogwarts

I don’t know if you feel old, but I sure do.
If you feel like commemorating the day with a purchase, the entire series is just under $58 for Kindle via Pottermore. (Or $52 in paperback. Amazon being what it is.)
Tolkien followed up his tale about Bilbo (The Hobbit) with one about his nephew Frodo (LOTR). Perhaps if we ask really nicely, JKR will provide us with sequels too.
It would be grand to have sequels about the kids and all. Love the HP series. I own both the hardbound and the Kindle versions, and have read through the books 3 times now. And, yes, I feel a bit older reading this news.
