HP today announced that it will be presenting the advantages of digital book printing at its ‘Digitally Printed Book Store’ themed stand at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2011(Hall 4.0, Stand 1300, 12 – 16 October 2011, Frankfurt, Germany).

HP will use its Digitally Printed Book Store to simulate a retail environment at the show, displaying a wide variety of hard, soft, colour and black and white digitally printed books.

Produced using publication printing technologies from HP Indigo and HP Inkjet High-speed Printing Solutions (IHPS), HP will demonstrate how publishers and publications printers around the world are taking advantage of high quality, high speed and cost-effective short run digital book printing. Visitors to the show will discover how this HP technology can reduce costs and business risks and provide faster time-to-market with increased business opportunities. …

Publishers worldwide are now turning to digital printing services to address their business needs. HP technology is helping to drive this trend, using its sheet-fed HP Indigo 7500 Digital Press and the web-fed HP Indigo W7200 Digital Press to achieve high-quality printing for digital book production. Award-winning books have also been printed using the HP Indigo press 5500 and its predecessor, the HP Indigo press 5000.
