Wicked_Witch_of_the_East“The Wicked Witch sells Jack a book on how to build Gingerbread houses for $15.99. Later, Jack enrolls in an online course on how to build Gingerbread houses and so he does not need the book any more. He turns around and sells the book to Jill for $10.00. The Wicked Witch complains that Jack is underselling her book and thus costing her profits. Does the Wicked Witch have a right to stop the sale?”

Nope, I won’t give the answer away. But you can find it in Patents, Trademarks & Copyrights: Introduction to Intellectual Property. It’s a quiz-enriched guide from the National Paralegal College, a for-profit and accredited institution with a well-credentialed staff. I’ll welcome comments on the guide from any lawyers reading this post.

Meanwhile, thanks to Catherine Harden and her library volunteers for spotting the guide.
