My FIOS router died this afternoon so none of my machines can connect to the internet – except for my Air. Verizon has good service, as they are overnighting another one to me.
I mentioned in an earlier post that I’ve been using the Virgin Mobile EVDO modem. Well, I fired it up and I’m back online. Speed is just fine. The nice thing is that the $40 plan has unlimited data so I’ll probably continue my usual evening Netflix streaming movie and I won’t have to worry about data overages.
It will also enable me to post to the site tomorrow, as there is no convenient WiFi connection in my area.
Style me “impressed in my Podunk town.”
This is the way to go for a growing number of people.
