E-book readers are infiltrating more big-box stores. Mediabistro’s eBookNewser reports that Office Depot is going to be carrying the Kindle, while Radio Shack is going to start selling the Nook.

Not so very long ago, it was believed that the lack of retail outlets carrying these e-readers would be a handicap to their adoption. But the Kindle has since found homes in several retail chains, and the Nook has likewise expanded beyond the brick-and-mortar walls of Barnes & Noble’s stores. Now anybody who is interested can run across one or both of the major brands without even meaning to.
