Laptop Magazine has a 6 page review of the Nook, complete with a photo gallery and links to the Nook manual. Overall they give it 3 1/2 stars out of 5.
The wish that the Nook’s software was speedier (they say that the page turn rate is slower than the Kindle by about half a second) and that it had better ergonomics. Controlling the machine isn’t as intuitive as they would like and that navigating the menus is slightly faster with the latest software, but still slow.
All in all, it looks as if the Nook still has a ways to go.
