Go to the Voter Packet page. You’ll need your LonCon membership number and PIN, which should be in an email in your inbox with the subject line “Loncon 3 PR3 and your Hugo PIN.” Once you’ve logged in, you’ll be presented with the options to download the category material shown at right.

(And if you haven’t signed up yet, it’s only about $45 for a voting membership, a steal for what-all you get. Just sayin’.)

As you can see, some of the categories are pretty big. Hope you’ve got plenty of bandwidth!

I just downloaded the Novel packet and looked inside. Well, I’ve got to admit, they weren’t lying about including the complete Wheel of Time. It’s right there…as a single 28 megabyte EPUB or 73 megabyte MOBI. (There’s a 1 megabyte cover image, too.) Uh, wow. I just want to mention, my first Palm Pilot had only two megabytes of memory. Just saying…

CompleteWheelofTimeLarry Correia’s nominee is there—and Baen even threw in the first two books in the series it’s part of, too. Those are all included in EPUB, MOBI, and RTF formats.

The Orbit books have samples in both PDF and EPUB formats. The Stross one had five chapters from the book; I didn’t check the others but I assume they’re about the same.

I checked out the Best Related Work packet, too. It’s got two complete books (Queers Dig Time Lords, Speculative Fiction 2012) in EPUB, MOBI, and PDF, and about half of a third (Wonderbook) in PDF only (protected by a password, included in a separate file, weirdly enough). Entirely absent are “We Have Always Fought” and Writing Excuses Season 8.

On a related note, Tor.com has two novella, one novelette, and two short story nominations. Today the site posted a list of links to all of them, so people can read them free online whether they’re Hugo voters or not. Enjoy!
