Ever heard of the Baader-Meinhof phenomenon? Even if you haven’t, you’ve almost certainly experienced it: It’s a cognitive bias that occurs after you hear or see something that is relatively odd or obscure, and then begin seeing or hearing that same thing over and over again.

I mention this because after writing recently about an amicus brief filed in the DoJ e-book price-fixing case that was produced to look like a comic book, I seem to been seeing tech-related comics books everywhere. It’s starting to get a little creepy. Just this  morning, for instance, I got a press release about the Mark Zuckerberg comic that was published by Bluewater Productions back in February 2011. In case you haven’t seen it yourself, it’s a 48-page biography of the Zuck that sold out in just one day, and was even optioned for an animated film.

Demand must still be high, because according to Bluewater president Darren G. Davis, the unfortunately-titled Mark Zuckerberg: Creator of Facebook has just been republished as a 96-page graphic novel, complete with expanded content and even a pin-up poster or two. The Amazon Kindle store is selling the title for $3.99 (the print version retails for $10.99).

Other tech-mogels who’ve received the comic-bio treatment from Bluewater include Bill Gates and the late Steve Jobs; Kindle Editions of both comics are $1.99. Up next is Sergey Brin and Larry Page: The Creators of Google; the print edition comes out on December 30, and is currently available for pre-order at $7.99. (No word on whether or not the Google boys will be similarly honored with and e-book version.)
