Amazon has just announced the Amazon Art marketplace, giving users access to 40,000 pieces of fine art from over 150 dealers and galleries. More than 4,500 artists will be represented at launch, making the site one of the largest online collections available, according to the company.

Crime Writer Elmore Leonard Elmore Recovering From Stroke (NPR)
The crime author Elmore Leonard had a stroke last week and is recovering in the hospital, Gregg Sutter, his researcher, told The Detroit News on Monday. Sutter added that the hugely prolific author of Out of Sight is in the middle of writing his 46th novel. Leonard is 87.
