faceshotOne of the reasons I haven’t been writing as much lately here is that I have another part-time writing gig now that takes up much of my attention. I’m the “PC Expert” for Answers.com’s Experts program, contributing 500- to 600-word articles on subjects pertaining to computers, tablets, and related issues. It’s a very different sort of writing than I do for TeleRead, as those articles have to be neutral in tone and informative or instructional, rather than editorial.

Along the way, I have managed to fit in a number of posts relating to topics relevant to TeleRead. A number of them are fairly basic and stuff that long-time TeleRead readers would know already, but I figured it was worth calling them out here. Needless to say, feel free to share them or pass them on to people who might find them helpful.

Here are my articles relating to e-books, portable computing devices, and digital rights issues:

Reading for Nothing: The Best Free E-Book Sites
Tips for Choosing an E-Reader Device
How to Browse the Web with Your Wi-Fi Kindle E-Reader
Calibre: A Single App for E-Book Management
 Zeepad: The $80 Android Tablet
Where Digital Rights Meet Fair Use Rights: The Unlocking Technology Act of 2013
The Drawbacks of Digital Rights Management
With Project Loon, Google Will Bring Internet to the Unwired World
Five Must-Have Accessories for Your Laptop Bag
The Logitech K360 Wireless Keyboard Offers Full-Sized Convenience in a Portable Package

I’ve done a few specifically about iOS applications:

Five Fun Word Games for iOS
Six Fun Time-Wasting Games for iOS
The Logitech Tablet Keyboard for iPad Offers Affordable Portable Typing

I’ve also done some about online shopping, blogging, and writing, but I’m going to save those for another post. This one is getting pretty link-tastic already—when I looked, I found I had more relevant articles than I remembered!

If anyone wants to suggest any other topics I might write about, please do! I’m always looking for more inspiration. Figuring out what to write about is really my biggest problem for my Answers writing.

I also have Twitter and Facebook presences where I share new articles as I write them, though I use Facebook more often.
