Doberman_Pinschers_black_and_blue (1)Is LSD in the virtual dog food of our anti-spam Dobermans—well, actually the Akismet service?

The Dobes have killed valuable comments from veteran TeleRead community members such as Frank Lowney and Michael W. Perry. Anyone know of some Dobe trainers out there? We’ll investigate the possibility of white-listing. This is an old problem. It was there when I owned TeleRead before. And, while filtering tech is better, it’s still there now.

Meanwhile please e-mail Editor-in-Chief Juli Monroe and cc me if the Dobes eat up your comments.

Often a Lazarus act within WordPress can retrieve your killed comments from our anti-spam Dobes’ stomachs and bring them back to life.

If nothing else, we can paste in your remarks from your e-mails.

Many in the legacy media think of reader comments as just a nuisance. We don’t, given the intelligence of our readers and all the value their insights add to TeleRead. Whether you agree or disagree with our posts, keep your comments coming! To encourage you, we’ve turned off our captchas (subject to restoration if an onslaught of spam besieges Juli).
