Oxford Reference Online: more than 100 dictionaries and reference books in all major subject areas

Safari Books Online: more than 1,200 computer and technology books full-text online

IGI Global – Information Science and Social Technologies: a collection of over 60 books published by IGI Global on social use of information, social median and organizations working in virtual environments

ABC-CLIO eBook Collection: over 100 encyclopedias and specialized reference sources covering a variety of subject areas

SAGE Reference Online: nearly 50 encyclopedias and specialized reference sources for multidisciplinary research

NetLibrary: more than 2,000 full-text online books on a wide range of subjects

PsycNET; more than 21,000 chapters in PDF from over 1,400 books published by APA and other distinguished publishers

EEBO – Early English Books Online: nearly ever work printed in England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and British North Americal and works in English printed elsewhere from 1473-1700

Eighteenth Century Collections Online: 150,000 books published in the U.K. in the 18th century

  1. Paul, All of these sources are licensed to the University Library for USF students, faculty, and staff. I offer many of these too, here at WSU, and the same thing applies – user/pass or IP authentication required. Just to clarify, they aren’t free, the library is paying big bucks to offer these eBook sources to their registered users (who may access them at no charge).
