That’s what the press release I just received from OverDrive says. The app is compatible with MP3 audiobooks from libraries, Barnes&Noble, BooksOnBoard, Borders and others. According to the press release it is a beta and carries a pretty early version number v.0.1, so use it at your own risk. You can find the download here.

Not having much luck with the app. I purchased an audiobook from BooksonBoard. Dl’d to overdrive console on computer, but was unable to wirelessly download from the BoB site to my phone. When I hooked up the phone to the computer, the files transfered to my music files instead of the overdrive console. I can listen to the book just fine from the phones mp3 player, it just isn’t going through the software for the app.
I just purchased a Droid X. Will I be able to download wma formatted audio books?
No, Al, not yet. The Overdrive application supports only MP3 audiobooks, nothing with WMA and no e-books.
