Portugal’s largest mobile network operator TMN (Portugal Telecom) has partnered with digital books service provider Mobcast Services Ltd, to offer their customers international bestselling titles and Portuguese eBooks to download and read directly on their mobile phones. This follows the growing consumer appeal of eReaders and eBooks across Europe.
The eBooks are accessible through TMN’s App Store providing free and paid titles between 1.50 Euros and 9.99 Euros across a wide range of popular genres. Among the titles available are bestselling series including Stieg Larsson’s Millennium trilogy, Charlaine Harris’ True Blood, and Portuguese Classics from Julio Dinis and João Baptista da Silva Leitão de Almeida Garrett.
The eBooks available are compatible with over 80 phones of various operating systems such as BlackBerry, Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericsson and LG and Android handsets.
