For many years, author Ray Bradbury didn’t want his books digitized. But he finally relented before his death in 2011, and allowed arguably his most famous book, Fahrenheit 451, to become an e-book.

But fans of Bradbury—old and those yet to be made—will be happy to hear that several of his books will in fact be released as e-books starting this Tuesday. There will be 16 backlist titles in the month of April going digital, with several other coming later this year, MediaBistro’s GalleyCat blog reported.

It seems his family is behind the project as well. His daughter Alexandra Bradbury released a statement:

The entire Bradbury family is excited to know that Dad’s work will finally be available to all readers: traditional print readers and the new generation of digital readers … We’re especially pleased that digital editions of Bradbury books will be available through libraries as well as e-retailers, as Ray Bradbury was an ardent supporter of our great public library system.

Here’s a schedule of the e-books set to come out this month.

April 16: Bradbury Speaks; Death Is a Lonely Business; A Graveyard for Lunatics; Now and Forever; One More for the Road; Green Shadows, White Whale

April 23: Dandelion Wine; Something Wicked This Way Comes; We’ll Always Have Paris

April 30: The Illustrated Man; Quicker Than the Eye; Driving Blind; The October Country; The Cat’s Pajamas; Let’s All Kill Constance; A Medicine for Melancholy and Other Stories

Retail outlets such as Barnes & Noble and Amazon have already begun to pre-sell the books. Prices range from $6.83 to $10.99.
