images.jpegAccording to an article in Publishing Perspectives, Shanghai wants to to have an all etextbook campus in five years.

The city’s local educational committee is already experimenting with etextbooks in several schools and wants all primary and high schools to go digital. It is expected that an etextbook reader would cost about $150 US.
