nanowrimoNovember is almost upon us again. Not only does that mean we United States residents can smell the turkey in the offing (those darned impatient Canadians have had theirs already), but it means that it’s about time for thousands of excited would-be novelists to kick off their campaign to write a complete novel by the end of the month.

I’ve never really felt the need to try to write a novel exactly on a November schedule—after all, I write stories, including novel-length ones, whenever the inspiration strikes me. But for those who do, I wish you the best of luck. And, also, you might want to consider kicking in $15 or $25 to Storybundle for their 2015 NaNoWriMo bundle of writing advice e-books.

You can pay what you want for the basic six books, pay $15 to get seven more, or pay $25 to get the twelve books that made up the 2014 NaNoWriMo bundle in addition to the first thirteen. Purchasers may opt to donate 10% of their purchase amount to the NaNoWriMo nonprofit that promotes National Novel Writing Month.

There are books from a lot of well-known writing advice providers in there. The husband-and-wife team of Dean Wesley Smith and Kristine Kathryn Rusch have at least a couple books each. Kevin J. Anderson is in there a few times, and there are titles by Chuck Wendig, Michael Stackpole, Algis Budrys, and others. 25 books for $25 is quite a bargain. The only dangers are that you’ll spend so much time reading writing advice that you don’t have time to write yourself—or that you somehow imagine that simply having those titles on your electronic bookshelf means you don’t have to read them.

Fortunately, there’s no hurry to get the books right away—this bundle is available for 63 more days.
