TechCrunch reports CrunchPad litigation ‘imminent’

Michael Arrington has posted again over at TechCrunch, continuing the saga of the CrunchPad partnership implosion we first reported a few days ago. He reports that litigation is soon to commence, and posts some supporting documentation.

It’s really sad to see this sort of thing play out: a previously-promising partnership dissolving into an ugly morass of “he-said-she-said” squabbling. Nobody is going to win like this: both sides will see their funding drained off by armies of lawyers, and the CrunchPad will be tied up in litigation long enough that others will be first to market.

But at least there are still plenty of e-book options for consumers, even without it.
