twitterEditor’s Note: This is somewhat modified from Dan’s original version. Since social media consulting is my other hat, I tweaked it a bit to add a bit more Twitter-centric style. The essence is all his, however. Enjoy!

What would the original Christmas have been like if Twitter had existed? Here’s what we at TeleRead think it might have looked like. 😉

  1. Re Editor’s comment that “This is somewhat modified from [the writer’s] original version. Since social media consulting is my other hat, I tweaked it a bit to add a bit more Twitter-centric style. ” IN FACT, it was the editing and tweaks and additions to the original text that have turned this little text into a minor masterpiece of Twitter humor and all credit must go to the savvy editor here. Additions such as ”#learnedtweetingearly” and all the RT marks and the Dr Who reference — <–Doctor Who! — all came out her inspired brain and heart. She took a cute little piece and, by adding many social media references and marks, turned the piece into something that i think will go now go viral worlwide and become if not a holiday classic, then a Twitterverse classic! How do you define collaboration? Bravo dear Editor! Really.

  2. Gabriel Stricker who is marketing directing at Twitter read this collaborative effort and tweeted me back ‏in internet time @gabrielstricker
    .@polarcityman, ”very clever”.

Adam_Messinger CFO at Twitter also read it and tweeted back.
