  • “Find groups that might be a good fit for your book and offer free content.”
  • “Don’t be a control freak.”
  • “Build communities around authors”

Jeff Lopez, director of marketing at Thomas Nelson, one of Book Business’s several interviewees, found that author-oriented communities were more successful than book-oriented ones. True? Or will this depend on the kind of book? How do you decide?
