Amazon’s new top-of-the-line Kindle Oasis will be unveiled at 9 a.m. with a $290 price tag. It’s to be available this week.
Such, anyway, is the news in a CNBC video, which confirms previous reports that the Kindle will not have waterproofing. But it is to have a wedge shape for easier holding. See earlier TeleRead post from Chris Meadows.
Other details from CNBC: The Oasis will be “the thinnest and lightest Kindle ever” and have “a rechargable battery case that lets users read for months without plugging the device in.”
