If you’re watching trends in trademark/copyright law – did anyone mention Google? – we have a new checkpoint to offer: law firm Foley Hoag has just launched its Trademark & Copyright Law Blog, with analysis and commentary on current developments in this increasingly contentious space.
In early postings, Foley Hoag’s bloggers touch on, among other topics, the Google Books project; so-called trademark bullies; recent tussling over Internet domain names; and even a fight between outdoor retailer The North Face and an irreverent copycat firm called (it’s true!) The South Butt.
