What do you want me to do? LEAVE? Then they'll keep being wrong! As Engadget pointed out, yesterday Randall Monroe’s Hugo-award-winning stick-figures-and-science webcomic xkcd turned ten years old. A mainstay of geeky humor, to the point where visiting an explanation wiki is sometimes necessary for laypeople to get the jokes, xkcd has provided fodder for a number of interesting or amusing TeleRead posts over the years.

Monroe has since parlayed the strip into a number of best-selling books, including a comic strip collection, a collection of his “What If?” hypothetical question columns, and book based on his “Thing Explainer” simplified diagram comics.

Monroe has featured in a number of videos that can be found on YouTube. Here he is in conversation with another geek icon, Wil Wheaton.
