What an incredible fluff piece. The entire article is a long list of where e-books fail when compared to p-books, then concludes that e-books “could give paper a run for its money”. Huh? Where did that conclusion come from?
When will somebody write an article for the BBC (or any other half-way respected publication) that lists the advantages of e-books? Because then a conclusion that specialized devices “could give paper a run for its money” would actually make sense. Or is it that everybody already instinctively realizes what those advantages are and will be?
