The UK p-mag Mac World has got a free audio book version of Ian Fleming’s Goldfinger included on its September 2005 cover disc. Considering that some British computer magazines will have their November issues on the shelves by now (if past experiences are anything to go by), I was surprised to still find this copy. YMMV.
Goldfinger is one of my favorite James Bond books. It contains the right mix of Bond’s reckless behaviour and Fleming’s laid-back story-telling; the author will easily spend several chapters on a golf match, for instance.
