The NY Post has launched its own iPad app, but the big news is that it allows subscriptions. The app includes the main sections of the paper – news, page six, opinion, pulse, business and sports. The $1.99 download fee entitles the user to an introductory 30 days.
According to iLounge users may buy montly access for $6.99 or a years subscription for $74.99. Does this mean that, finally, Apple has allowed publishers to go to a subscription model?
