According to the NY Times the book will go on sale in ebook form weeks ahead of the print book’s publication date of September 21.
The article says that Amazon and other ebook retailers were authorized to release the book today, but I just checked and it isn’t available on the Amazon site yet. HarperCollins was “… trying to meet the demand for the book since the national coversation has turned to Islam and the planned community center at ground zero.”
The article goes on to say that this is the first time that HarperCollins has released an ebook before the print edition.
