I offered my two cents’ worth, and now, in case you missed it, Robert Nagle has weighed in with a long, thoughtful essay.
Robert doesn’t mention E vs. P—the Looker on the subway can’t go by the title on an e-cover when you’re Kindling away. Oh well, there’s always Facebook.
“the Looker on the subway can’t go by the title on an e-cover”
Good point – I was standing outside a shopping centre earlier this year, reading a childrens book on my Treo 650. The book was something I read as a 10-year-old, and I’m sure I would have got a lot of strange glances had I been reading a P-book instead.
(Suddenly the penny drops. Is that why erotica ebooks are supposedly doing big business?)
