images.jpgThe Guardian checked the prices in Amazon’s UK Kindle bookstore against Waterstone’s, iBooks, Amazon and Play. Play and Amazon are paper bookstores.

They found that “it is clear the Kindle offers the best value on all titles and is markedly cheaper than the high street”. Looking at their listings, the Kindle store is substantially cheaper than iBooks in all the cases they checked.
