Old ignorance: A supplier of both e- and p-books got following question today: “What’s an e-book?” The reply was, “It’s electronic book.” And the buyer said: “Oh, so you mean it has a different binding?”

New ignorance: The Mr. Boffo cartoon in the Washington Post shows a bunch of people in front of computers. And it mentions the “Most Frequently Asked Question in Today’s Moern Libraries.” “What Are the Books For?” (Thanks to Roger Sperberg.)
