Flipboard for Android was released as an early exclusive app with the Galaxy S III Android device, with a wider release for the Android platform in general soon to follow. However, ReadWriteWeb reports that an Android hacker has extracted the Android package file from his phone and made it more widely available, and it seems to run well on a variety of Android devices.
I still say that Flipboard for iPad is one of the best aggregation apps currently available, and it’s great to see it showing up for Android, even if it isn’t quite official yet.
