Google cache ruled legal

Very interesting. As the article notes, this could influence the Google Print lawsuit. In order to offer a cached copy of a webpage, Google has to copy that webpage to its own servers first. Google Print only performs that first step, which is the copy that the Author’s Guild suit seem to rest on.
