Engadget notes that those who have already upgraded their eligible iPhones or iPod Touches to iOS 4 are starting to receive notifications that the iBooks app is available to download for their devices—though they apparently have to download via iTunes rather than through the on-device updater.
Of course, my iPod Touch was ineligible for iOS 4 even before it got lost, so I’ll have to wait a bit longer to check it out.
Not sure I understand. I have a 3GS and am eligible for 4.0. I thought it was being released 6/21. I checked today and it says no updates are available for the phone software at this time.
See the “already upgraded” link in the article.
Developers have early acces to iOS4. I’m already running it on my device. The general public gets it on the 21st.
