Kindle Nation Daily has a listing of free Kindle books up today. Here’s the scoop from the front page:
How to use this page: After a listing of the 25 or so newest free contemporary ebooks in the Kindle Store, we provide a list of over 100 other free titles sorted by category, followed by links to over a million other titles, including public domain classics, that you can download directly to your Kindle via the Whispernet (free if you have a wifi Kindle or 3G+wifi Kindle).
Strange, when I hover on one of the books, a pop-up windows shows price $0. But when I click through to the Amazon website the price is $7.99. Yes, the Kindle edition. $2 is explainable as international download fee, but the remaining $5,99?
The best place I’ve found for free Kindle books is http://booksontheknob.blogspot.com/ it’s generally updated daily (it does have the occasional free B&N, Sony and Kobo freebie too).
Just wanted to let you know that the following book is free on Amazon on the 22nd of every month.
